1-Year Extension Granted For White Barn Development: Report
The former theater property in Norwalk is slated to become a housing complex.
NORWALK, CT — The developers of the former White Barn theater property in Norwalk have been granted a one-year extension by the Zoning Commission, giving the builders more time to begin constructing a planned housing complex at the site, reported The Hour.
Earlier this year, the 15-acre site was sold for $3 million to Norwalk-based development company Able Construction, which is planning to build a 15-home complex on the property.
Construction on the project, which is expected to begin in the near future, will take close to two years to complete.
