18-Year-Old Killed In I-95 Crash In Norwalk: State Police

A New York teenager was killed in a Wednesday night crash near exit 13 on I-95 in Norwalk, according to state police.

NORWALK, CT — An 18-year-old New York man was killed Wednesday night in a crash between a car and a tractor trailer truck on I-95 in Norwalk, according to Connecticut State Police.

Gerson Sebastian Urgiles, of Corona, New York, who was a rear seat passenger in a Scion TC, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 9:30 p.m. crash.

According to state police, the car he was riding in rear-ended the tractor trailer near exit 13 southbound.

The driver of the car, 24-year-old Kelvin M. Urgiles, and another passenger, 15-year-old Michael Steven Urgiles, both of Corona, NY, suffered minor injuries in the 9:30 p.m. crash.; the operator of the truck, 49-year-old Andre Terry Hall, of Gretna, Virginia, was not injured, state police said.

The truck sustained minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene, while the Scion sustained extensive front-end damage and was inoperable.

As of Thursday, no charges have been filed, but the crash remains under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is urged to contact Trooper Brian Pagoni at state police Troop G at 203-696-2500.
