2019 Labor Day Garbage/Recycling Schedule In Norwalk
Labor Day will be celebrated throughout the country on Monday, Sept. 2.
City of Norwalk: On Monday September 2, 2019 (Labor Day), there will be NO garbage andrecycling collection services and collection will follow the holiday schedule. City of Norwalk Garbage and Recycling normally collected on Monday September 2nd will be collected on Tuesday September 3rd . Tuesday routes will be collected on Wednesday and so on until Friday routes are collected on Saturday September 7th .
The Norwalk Transfer Station, located at 61 Crescent St, and the Yard Waste Site, located at 15 South Smith St, will both be CLOSED on Monday September 2nd (Labor Day); and will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday September 3rd .
