4th Of July Fireworks 2021 Canceled In Norwalk

Norwalk's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate Independence Day.

NORWALK, CT — Although coronavirus cases continue to drop across the country while the number of those who are fully vaccinated continues to rise, many Independence Day celebrations have once again been canceled, modified or will be held virtually due to the pandemic.

While Norwalk's fireworks, parades and 5K events have been canceled, a replacement event has not been announced at this time.

Nearby in Darien, a celebration will be held on July 2 as part of the city's Weed Beach Festive Nights series.
