Bridgeport Man Arrested for Possession with Intent to Sell

He was held on $10,000 bond.

Edwin Lugo, 38, of Bridgeport was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and possession of less than four ounces of marijuana after what police said could have been a botched drug deal.

According to police, officers responded to a Slocum Street residence after they received a report of two white males breaking in to their apartment and driving away in a black Jeep. Police ended up tracking down that vehicle and pulled it over, at which time Lugo allegedly threw marijuana and cash on the driver.

Subsequent investigation led police to Lugo's arrest on April 2 at 7:03 p.m.
