The driver of the Hyundai sedan, described as a woman in her 20s, was taken to Norwalk Hospital for evaluation following the 4:30 a.m. crash, but she was able to walk away from the wreck under her own power.
"When Firefighters arrived with Hospital Paramedics and State Police the car, a Hyundai Sedan was found on its side, in a foot of water, between the Parkway exit 40A ramp and the 1 Glover Avenue Condos," wrote Prescott in a statement. "The car appears to have left the southbound exit ramp to Main Avenue and traveled 60’ to the river below."
