Cops: Man and His Cousin Arrested After Each Causes a Disturbance
Police said they arrested a man on charges of possessing drugs with intent to sell, and his cousin, too, when she didn't stop screaming.

When a Norwalk police officer was trying to take Shakha Moore, 21, into custody, he pushed the officer away, but eventually cooperated, but his cousin, Breyona Sampson, was more unruly, police said, according to a report in the Norwalk Hour.
Norwalk police gave his account (an accusation not proven in court) of the incident, according to the report in the newspaper:
A police officer saw Moore licking a marijuana “blunt” (a cigar filled with marijuana) as Moore stood near the corner of Day and Raymond streets at about 5:30 p.m., Monday. He dropped the blunt when he saw the officer, then pushed the officer away when the officer initially tried to take him into custody. A crowd gathered, and the officer warned Moore that a taser would be used if he didn’t cooperate. He then cooperated.

Moore, of 32 Marlin Dr., was charged with assault on a police officer, and various drug possession charges. Sampson, of 208 Washington St., was charged with interfering with an officer. He was initially held on $10,000 bond; she, on $2,500 bond.
