COPS: Norwalk Man Assaults Woman



When Norwalk police initiated a traffic stop early Tuesday morning at the intersection of Monroe and Main streets a passenger in the res Honda got out and began to walk away, police said.

When police identified the man, 29-year-old Jose Pablon, they leaned he had a warrant dating back to August 2012, according to an arrest report.

Pablon allegedly hit a female complainant in the face and then threw her against a wall outside of 90 Main Street, police said.

Norwalk police charged Pablon with breach of peace and third-degree assault, according to the arrest report.

Pablon was issued a $3,500 fine. He is due in court May 7.
