NORWALK, CT — Firefighters extinguished a house fire Sunday morning on Live Oak Road in Norwalk, according to fire officials. No injuries were reported.

The call came in at 10 a.m. when a neighbor reported a propane tank explosion. Firefighters did not discover any tanks involved in the blaze, but found a gas grill near the rear section of the house where the fire started.

"Firefighters quickly knocked the flames down which ran the wall of the home's addition and into the roof rafters," fire officials said. "Firefighters ventilated the home and checked for fire extension, while overhauling the fire area."
