'Maritime With A Twist' At The Maritime Aquarium June 27
Tickets for the adult-only event are $40 ($35 for Maritime Aquarium members).
From the Maritime Aquarium: Ales and alewives. Cabs and cod. Tacos and tamarins. Sliders and sand tigers. Enjoy them all in one place during the next adults-only “Maritime with a Twist” on Thurs., June 27 at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk.
Open to anyone age 21 and over, “Maritime with a Twist” runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and features delicious tastes from Norwalk restaurants, as well as pourings by area craft breweries, artisanal distillers and wine retailers. Sample them all while enjoying the entire Aquarium for one price.
“You don’t have to be a kid – or have a kid – to enjoy The Maritime Aquarium,” said spokesman Dave Sigworth. “The Aquarium is a unique place for a fun adult-night out, especially with the opportunity to sample all of the amazing foods and quality spirits.”

South Norwalk restaurants expected to serve samplings from their menus include: Bandido, The Blind Rhino, Evarito’s, La Dolce Café, Local Kitchen & Beer Bar, Saltwater and Tablao, as well as the Aquarium’s onsite cater CulinArt.
Pouring the tastings will be Asylum Vodka of Bridgeport, Eder Bros. wine wholesalers of West Haven, Kraken Rum, wine importer Monsieur Touton Selection Ltd. of NYC, Owl’s Brew of NYC, Thimble Island Brewery Co. of Branford, and Total Wine & More of Norwalk.

Weather permitting, the event will spill out onto the Aquarium’s riverfront courtyard. Big Yachty will provide live rock sounds of the ‘70s. Media sponsor is CT Bites.
Tickets for the June 27 “Maritime with a Twist” are $40 ($35 for Aquarium members) with proceeds supporting The Maritime Aquarium. There’s no extra cost for food and drink after your ticketed admission.
