Mill Hill Historic Park in Norwalk To Open For Tours In June
The Norwalk Historical Society's Mill Hill Historic Park will open its historic buildings for guided and self-guided tours in June.

NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Historical Society's Mill Hill Historic Park will open its historic buildings for guided and self-guided tours in June.
According to a news release, self-guided tours of Mill Hill Historic Park will take place June 5 at noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Guided tours will take place June 27 at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Tickets must be purchased in advance at www.norwalkhistoricalsociety.org, and those interested are encouraged to buy tickets early due to limited availability.
Mill Hill Historic Park is located at 2 East Wall Street in Norwalk, and parking is available on site. If the lot is full, there is additional parking across the street at the HSC building on the corner of East Wall Street and Park Street.

Explore the c1740 Governor Fitch Law Office, which has been completely renovated and reinterpreted. New interpretive panels provide information about colonial life and Governor Fitch.
Visit the c1826 Downtown District One Room Schoolhouse and the exhibit "One Room Schoolhouses: A History of Education in Norwalk 1650-1870," which highlights the early history of education in Norwalk using old photographs, original documents and period textbooks. Both exhibits were curated by Dr. Daryn Reyman-Lock with graphic design by Scott Kuykendall.
Guests can then stroll through the Mill Hill Burying Ground, Norwalk's third oldest in town, and delight in the blooming Colonial Herb Garden.
On June 5, buildings and grounds will be self-guided. On June 27, Norwalk Historical Society docents will lead guided tours of the Governor Fitch Law Office, Downtown District Schoolhouse and the Colonial Herb Garden.
