Norwalk Establishes Waitlist For Coronavirus Vaccine
The waitlist will be used when the health department vaccination clinic has extra doses of the vaccine or there are patient cancellations.
NORWALK, CT — The city's Health Department has established a waitlist for Norwalk residents who are eligible to receive the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine, officials announced.
The list will be used when a Norwalk Health Department vaccination clinic has extra doses or appointments available due to patient cancellations or no-shows. When that happens, residents will be contacted at random to fill open appointment slots.
"This is not an appointment request, and submitting information does not guarantee someone will be contacted to receive a vaccine," said Mayor Harry Rilling in a statement. "A person must be eligible at the time of vaccination to receive a vaccine through this wait list."
