Norwalk Issues Reminder About Disposal Passes
Norwalk residents are reminded that the grace period for a 2021 Disposal Pass ends this week.

NORWALK, CT — Residents are reminded that the grace period for a 2021 Disposal Pass ends this week.
Starting Monday, the 2021 Disposal Pass will be required to use the Norwalk Transfer Station and Yard Waste Site, according to a news release.

Residents are required to have the paper 2021 Disposal Pass displayed on the driver's side windshield for cars or SUVs that enter the Norwalk Transfer Station or Yard Waste Site.
Residents can print their pass at norwalkct.org. Staff is also available at the City Hall walk-up window Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for assistance with the disposal pass.

The Norwalk Resident Disposal Permit Card for residents with pick-up trucks, vans and/or trailers will renew on July 1 and the one ton free disposal limit will be reset, but residents are required to show their 2021 Disposal Pass to the weighmasters at either Scale Office.
It is the responsibility of the permit card holder to produce a copy of the 2021 Disposal Pass to the weighmaster.
