NORWALK, CT — Police said a Norwalk man was arrested Tuesday after officers seized approximately $10,000 worth of cocaine from his home.

In a news release Wednesday, Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino said officers arrested Jose Joel Sauceda Molina, 20, following a four-month narcotics trafficking investigation that spanned the Fairfield County area.

According to Gulino, sufficient evidence obtained during the investigation allowed officers to execute a search and seizure warrant at Molina's home, which shares a driveway with the Growing Seeds Child Development Center.

Officers ultimately seized approximately $10,000 worth of powder cocaine and about $2,000 cash from the home, Gulino said.

Molina was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a daycare, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a daycare/school.
