Norwalk PD Seeks Help Solving 5-Year-Old Hit-And-Run Cold Case
Norwalk resident Jamie Lane, 26, was killed on May 11, 2016, when she was struck by a car on Van Buren Avenue near Bedford Avenue.

NORWALK, CT — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the driver of car that struck two pedestrians, killing one, in a hit-and-run crash in 2016 in Norwalk. A reward of up to $50,000 has been offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who committed the crime.
Norwalk resident Jamie Lane, 26, was killed in the May 11, 2016, crash that occurred at about 9:30 p.m. on Van Buren Avenue near Bedford Avenue. The second pedestrian suffered injuries in the crash but survived.
The vehicle that struck the two was a silver BMW 5 Series sedan, which fled the scene before police arrived.

Police said the vehicle is believed to have sustained front and right side damage in the crash, including broken right side mirror, which authorities found at the scene.
