Norwalk Releases 2021 Memorial Day Schedule
The city has released information regarding garbage and recycling collection, closures and more related to Memorial Day in Norwalk.
NORWALK, CT — The city has released information regarding garbage and recycling collection, closures and more related to Memorial Day in Norwalk.
There will be no garbage and recycling collection in Norwalk on Monday, and collections will be pushed back one day to follow a holiday schedule, according to city officials.
The Norwalk Transfer Station on Crescent Street and the Yard Debris Site on South Smith Street will be closed Monday, as will City Hall.

Norwalk Public Schools will also be closed Monday, however meal distribution sites will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The city's Memorial Day parade is scheduled to kick-off from Veteran's Park at 10 a.m.
