Norwalk Town Clerk's Office Under Investigation

The Norwalk Town Clerk's office is under investigation to determine whether money was mishandled by an employee.

According to a report in the Norwalk Hour, Town Clerk Rick McQuaid confirmed the investigation last week, though did not name names.

The employee suspected of possibly mishandling funds is a member of the Norwalk Assistants and Supervisors Association, according to the Hour. 

Because of the investigation's ongoing nature, more information was not released.
