Norwalk's Calf Pasture Beach Closed Due To High Winds: Police
The beach was closed Monday afternoon out of an abundance of caution, according to officials.
NORWALK, CT — Calf Pasture Beach in East Norwalk was closed for the day Monday afternoon due to safety concerns, as high winds swept through the region, city officials announced.
"Due to the high winds, tree limbs are continuing to fall at the beach, and we are being extra cautious," officials wrote on the city's Twitter page.
The beach is expected to reopen Tuesday at it regular time, officials added.
