Obituary: Claire D. Ashcroft, 90, of Norwalk
Claire worked as a nurse for Family and Children's Services and volunteered at the Guild for the Blind.
NORWALK, CT - (From ) Claire D. Ashcroft, 90, of Norwalk, wife of the late Ralph L. Ashcroft, died on January 14, 2021 at Norwalk Hospital.
Born in Stamford, CT, the daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Plath) Daly, she was also predeceased by her son Ralph "Randy" Ashcroft, as well as her siblings.
She had worked as a nurse for Family and Children's Services, and had volunteered at the Guild for the Blind. Claire enjoyed reading, gardening, gossiping with her friends and family.

She is survived by her son Jay Ashcroft, of Norwalk, daughter Susan Ashcroft Licari of Norwalk, and 2 grandchildren, Shayann Rose Licari & Kylie Jewel Turlis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at St. Mary Church, 669 West Avenue, Norwalk, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.
