Gerald F. Mutuski, Sr., 80, died on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Yale- New Haven. He was the beloved husband of Gail (Thomas) Mutuski for 46 years. Born in Norwalk, the son of John Andrew and Elizabeth (Adesko) Mutuski, he was also predeceased by his brother John Mutuski, and step-son Raymond Guimond. Gerald had served in the US Marine Corps and worked as an optical engineer for Perkin Elmer.
He enjoyed sports and was a pitcher for the Norwalk High School team as well as a star fullback on the football team.

In addition to his loving wife Gail, he is survived by his son Gerald F. Mutuski Jr. and his wife Dawn, John Mutuski and his wife Laureen, and step-son Paul Guimond and his wife Lisa, cherished grandchildren; Matthew, Jarod and Dominic, Luke, Poppy and Milo Mutuski and Joseph Guimond, as well as his mother-in-law Frances Seuch, sister-in-law, Judith Thomas, and brother-in-law Alexander Thomas.
Graveside services with military honors, will be held privately at St John Cemetery, Norwalk.
