Rosemary Fabion Maillard, age 73 of Norwalk, died at Norwalk Hospital on June 26, 2021. She was the loving wife for 44 years of Ronald J. Maillard.

Rosemary was born in Norwalk on March 8, 1948, the daughter of the late Louis and Millie (Masi) Fabian. She was employed by the Norwalk Public Schools, having formerly been a service rep for SNET and a Real Estate Agent for William Pitt.

Rosemary loved spending time with her family, spending time in the sun by the pool and cooking for everyone made her very happy. She will truly be missed. She was an avid bingo player and was a member of the St. Ann Club and the American Legion.

Rosemary is also survived by her loving son Joe Maillard, her beloved dog Luna, her brother Louis Fabion (Rosemary), sisters Barbara McDonough (John) and Carmel Skrabal (Ed), brothers and sisters-in-law Dorleen Fabian, Robert and Susan Maillard, Edward and Dee Maillard, Sharon and Charlie Mullins and many nieces, nephews; Godson/nephew Don E. Hofmann, his wife Jessica and son Cozmo, Scott and Makenzie Skrabal, Stacey and Christopher Fabion and daughter Ella, Paco and Stacey Fabian and their children Caden, James and Trevor, Christina and Ryan Mitchel and their children Tyler, Brody and Kylie, T.J. Fabian, Angel and Michael Mullen, Scott and Eliana Maillard and their children Sophia and Victoria, Mike Maillard, Kevin and Brian Maillard, Craig and Charles Maillard, Steven and Bobby Parker. Rosemary was also predeceased by her brother Dennis Fabian.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 3, 11 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Ave., Norwalk. Rosemary's family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
