Pandemic Leads To Scaled Back SoNo Entertainment Site Plan
Plans for an ax throwing venue and brewery reportedly have been scrapped due to the lingering effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
NORWALK, CT — A planned entertainment complex in the 80s block of Water Street in South Norwalk has been scaled back by developers due to the lingering effects of the coronavirus pandemic, writes The Hour.
Sono Square Associates, LLC, led by Westport developer David Waldman, had planned an ax throwing venue, brewery and other attractions at the site, but now are proposing gyms and squash courts.
The site previously held an annex for the furniture store Lillian August, but plans now call for a concentration on athletic, educational and training pursuits.
