Player On Norwalk Hockey Team Commits To College Program

Team Captain Tyler Buonopane has committed to the NCAA III's team in Lake Forest, Illinois.

The Connecticut RoughRiders of the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) forward and team captain Tyler Buonopane from North Andover, MA has committed to the NCAA III's Lake Forest in Lake Forest, IL members of the NCHA (Northern Collegiate Hockey Association) for the Fall of 2021.

Buonopane led the RoughRiders in scoring this season with 21 goals and 34 assists in 37 games played.

“Tyler is genuine offensive forward with nice speed on the attack. He has strong offensive instincts and has a nose for the net. He was quite effective on even strength, power play and short-handed situations while with the RoughRiders,” said CT RoughRiders Head Coach Eric Lind.
