“Expanding into Southern Connecticut has been on our mind for a long time with how much work we do in the state,” said PDC Owner Ron Perry. “Following the extremely successful work we did on The SoNo Collection, a $300 million upscale shopping mall that opened in late 2019, it seemed the best location to branch out our network would be Norwalk.”
PDC worked on The SoNo Collection for 24 months, dedicating 75–125 workers to complete the project. The company created dynamic solutions to construction issues including origami drywall finishing while keeping the integrity and beauty of the design in mind.

Leading the new office is recently promoted Josh Palmieri, who has worked with PDC for more than six years. A graduate of the State University of New York at Cortland, he has worked for more than 20 years in the construction industry and prior to being promoted to Project Executive/Norwalk Regional Manager, held positions as an Estimator and Senior Project Manager with PDC.
“I have been doing drywall since I was 12 years old,” said Palmieri. “The construction industry has always been a very big part of my life. The SoNo Collection was one of the largest projects I have ever worked on and it was amazing to see something of that scale come together. Fresh off that job, I am ready to take on this new challenge and work to grow PDC in a new market.”
