NORWALK, CT — A 19-year-old resident of South Norwalk who was shot on Suncrest Road Thursday afternoon has died from his injuries, according to police.

Timothy Cantey died early Friday morning at Norwalk Hospital. He had been shot around 12:18 p.m. Thursday in what police described as a "targeted" attack.

The investigation is active and ongoing, as detectives continue to follow all possible leads, police said.
