Soon To Open Norwalk Barbershop Damaged In Fire

The building was set to open in a few weeks as a barbershop.

NORWALK, CT — Firefighters battled a blaze at a commercial building early Sunday morning. The building at 108 Connecticut Ave. was set to become a barbershop in a few weeks.

Firefighters went to the fire around 1:13 a.m. and had to cut through a metal roll-up security door to gain access to the building, the Norwalk Fire Department said in a release.

Connecticut Avenue was shut down while firefighters extinguished the fire.
