Suspect Sought In Norwalk Store Burglary: Police

The suspect broke into the El Coqui store on Lexington Avenue sometime after it closed on Monday night, according to Norwalk police.

NORWALK, CT — Norwalk police detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who burglarized the El Coqui store at 39 Lexington Ave. on Monday.

The suspect hid in the basement of the store until the owner closed up at 9:30 p.m., according to police. See the surveillance photos of the suspect above.

"The suspect then came out of hiding, took money from the register and left through the basement rear door," police said.
