2 Vehicles Reported Stolen In Oxford: State Police

In the separate incidents, both vehicles had been left running.

OXFORD, CT — A pair of vehicles, both of which had been left running, were reported stolen in separate incidents in Oxford Wednesday, according to state police.

The first was reported stolen from outside a Dunkin Donuts, while the second was taken from the Tommy K's plaza at about 8 p.m. Both owners had left the vehicles running while they ran into the stores for quick errands.

"Don’t become a victim and always remove your keys from your vehicle," state police wrote on Facebook. "Also lock your vehicles. Both of these incidents occurred in under 15 seconds."
