ACE Hardware Ribbon Cutting This Week; New Businesses Set to Open in Oxford

OXFORD, CT — ACE Hardware by Haynes at Quarry Walk will be hosting their official ribbon cutting on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at 300 Oxford Road, Oxford.

Bill Purcell, President of the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce (GVCC) will officiate the ceremonial ribbon cutting and GVCC members and their guests are cordially invited to join in the festivities between the hours of 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm and refreshments will be served.

“We are very excited to showcase Ace Hardware by Haynes” said Patrick Haynes, VP of Haynes Materials, in a news release. “ACE Hardware has long been known as the helpful hardware place and we are pleased to provide our customers with the convenience of having a neighborhood hardware store right here at Quarry Walk.”

In addition to Ace Hardware, Quarry Walk is home to Market 32 by Price Chopper, Newtown Savings Bank, Wine Market, Supercuts, Dollar Tree and Goodwill. Joining Quarry Walk in 2017 will be Nobility Nail & Spa, Five Guys, Verizon and Griffin Hospital will anchor the Medical Office Building later this year.

Plans are underway to continue work on the 1.5 mile walking trail that encircles Quarry Walk and construction will begin on the Market Place Green. Construction will also begin this spring/summer on the Residential Units at Quarry Walk.
