Arianna Keller recieves scholarship named for Oxford resident

Caryl M Soucy Memorial Scholarship awarded by the Oxford Cultural Arts Commission

Oxford High School senior Arianna Keller is the 2019 recipient of the Oxford Cultural Arts Commission Caryl M. Soucy Memorial scholarship.

The $500 scholarship was given to Miss Keller during senior night awards hosted at Oxford High School on May 23, 2019.

Keller was among several students to be recognized as outstanding in the arts during the ceremony, in which awards and scholarships were given to Oxford High School seniors. The teachers, in cooperation with the Connecticut Community Foundation recommend students who meet the criteria for the award.

The Caryl M. Soucy scholarship was created in 2015 and is awarded to an Oxford High School student who excels in visual and/or performing arts.

Presenting the award for the Oxford Cultural Arts Commission was the commission Vice-Chair Adriene Radcliffe.
