OXFORD, CT — The town Ethics Committeeruled that Selectman-elect Heather Haney didn't violate the town's ethics code when she used her town email to ask about hosting a campaign event at the senior center where she works.
The board ruled that she didn't follow the normal rules, but she didn't try to use her position to gain preferential treatment, according to the Republican-American.
