Kids Summer Meal Program
Seymour Oxford Food Bank to distribute meal bags to clients with school-aged children.

For the second year, the Seymour Oxford Food Bank will be
distributing weekly summer meal bags from June 12 - August 21 to our
clients with school-aged children. During the school year, these
children would receive free or reduced breakfasts and lunches at school.
The food bank wants to help these families by packing bags with enough
food to feed the children for 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches. Each week,
the meal bags will contain different foods for a variety in their meals.
Below is a list of items we are collecting to fill these bags. Please
consider donating an item or two towards these bags. We distributed 13
bags/week last year and there are 11 weeks of summer break this year which will total
143 bags for the summer. That's a lot of food!
Feel free to contact the food bank at 203-888-7826 with any questions. Thank you for any help you can give. Donations may be dropped off during our business hours of Monday - Thursday (9am-11am) or after-hours, in bins located at the door to the food bank. We are located in the basement of the Seymour Community Center, 20 Pine Street, in Seymour.
