Obituary: George T. Rzeszutek, 86, of Oxford

George served as past president of the Oxford Dog Training Club of Waterbury and was a retired Lab Technician for Uniroyal.

OXFORD, CT - (From Miller-Ward Funeral Home) George T. Rzeszutek, age 86, of Oxford, beloved husband of Margo (Falzone) Rzeszutek, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Griffin Hospital.

George was born on September 20, 1934 in Oxford the son of the late Stanley and Mary (Kuzar) Rzeszutek.

George was a retired Lab Technician for Uniroyal, for many years. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed recreational piloting. George also raced stock cars at Danbury Race Arena under the name of Gorjus George.

He was the past president of the Oxford Dog Training Club of Waterbury. He will be sadly missed by all and will remain forever in our hearts.

In addition to his beloved wife Margo his family includes a loving sister Carol Boland of Guilford and several caring nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his two brothers Stanley and Joseph Rzeszutek, five sisters Rose Rzeszutek, Viola Martin, Stephanie Fray, Wanda Staskiewicz and Eileen Mazaika.

All services are private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in George's memory to The Seymour Oxford Food Bank, through the funeral home.
