Oxford Football Loses Heartbreaker

The Oxford High School football team lost a close one Friday night, 28-21, to Masuk of Monroe at Wolverine Field in Oxford.

With just over one minute left in the game, Oxford quarterback Kyle Chudoba completed a pass in the back of the end zone to Owen Diaz. While it appeared as if Diaz came down in bounds, it was a close call and an official ruled he was out of bounds. Masuk took over on offense before letting the clock run out in the game.

Oxford moves to 2-2 on the season, while Masuk improves to 4-0.
