Oxford Garners National Attention In New List: Report

OXFORD, CT — A new list compiled by LendEdu says Oxford is one of nine Connecticut towns that is among the best places to start a small business, the Republican-American reports. Oxford officials told the Rep-Am that they are honored by the recognition.

Oxford is ranked 387 out of 500 communities across the United States for the same list, according to LendEdu. Oxford received high marks for a low tax rate, closeness to major highways, and tax breaks to businesses near the airport, the Rep-Am reports.
