Oxford Kindergarten Registration Opens Online

Kindergarten Registration for the Town of Oxford is being done remotely this year. Please download the Registration Form (K-12) from our website http://qfs.oxfordpublicschools.org along with the Registration Checklist.

Please complete both forms and scan them, along with the documentation required, to Heidi Varanko varankoh@oxfordpublicschools.org. If you cannot scan, please fax to 203-888-6813 or mail to Heidi Varanko at Quaker Farms School, 30 Great Oak Road, Oxford, CT 06478. Scanning is the preferred method. Your child must be five (5) years old on or before January 1, 2022.

In order to register your child for kindergarten, parent/guardian must mail/scan the following:

• A copy of the student’s birth certificate
• Proof of a recent physical examination and required immunizations of the student(s)
• A copy of a guardian’s driver’s license with current Oxford address or Connecticut Identification card,
• One of the following for proof of residency:

o A copy of a mortgage statement and/or lease agreement or notarized affidavit signed by the property owner

And one of the following:

o A copy of a car registration, property tax bill or latest utility bill

A physical examination must be completed for all five year old students and must be submitted by December 31, 2021. Proof of immunizations must be provided to the school prior to the student attending school. At the time of your child’s physical, your doctor’s office should do a vision and hearing screening. If there are any health related concerns that require a doctor’s order please contact our school nurse, Leslie Wachter, at 203-888-7766 prior to the start of the school year. During the summer please email her at wachterl2@oxfordpublicschools.org.
