Oxford Man Charged After 'Domestic Incident': Naugatuck Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — An Oxford man, Brendan Burns, 31, of Augusta Drive was arrested on a warrant stemming from a "domestic incident," Naugatuck Police said.

On Jan. 24, Burn was arrested on a warrant. "The warrant was from a domestic incident where the accused was intoxicated, caused minor injuries to two victims, and refused to let one on the victim's leave the residence. There was also a child present during the incident," Naugatuck Police said.

Burns is charged with third-degree assault, risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond.
