Oxford Memorial Day Parade Set For May 31
Last year, the town held an automobile procession in place of the parade in a nod to the coronavirus pandemic.
OXFORD, CT — Oxford will host a traditional Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 31, according to officials.
In 2020, with the coronavirus pandemic in full swing, instead of marchers the town held an automobile procession to honor America's troops and veterans.
The 2021 parade is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. on Route 67 at Quarry Walk and end at about noon.

According to local authorities, the following roads will be closed during the parade:
- Rt 67 at Hogs Back
- Rt 67 at Governors Hill
- Rt 67 at Riggs
- Rt 67 at Chestnut Tree Hill Extension
