Oxford Offers Trip To West Point Dress Parade

OXFORD, CT - From Oxford Parks & Recreation: Oxford Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a trip the West Point Dress Parade on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Come view the famous Dress Parade conducted with great pomp and circumstance on the parade grounds. See the Cadets march in full uniform, in cadence with the military music, presenting arms in unison. Trip includes a guided tour of West Point highlights: Cadet Chapel, Trophy Point and Hudson River lookout. This trip requires a moderate amount of walking. Enjoy lunch at the Hotel Thayer - assortment of salads, hot & cold entrees and dessert. The cost is $110 per person. Departs 8:00 a.m. Oxford Town Hall, 486 Oxford Road. Estimated Return: 6:30 p.m.
