Oxford Parks and Recreation Hosting Summer Trips

From Oxford Parks & Recreation: Hope that you can join us for some summer fun! Our trips are open to residents and non-residents, young and old. Driver Gratuity is included in all of our day trip prices as shown.

To make a reservation, call the OPR office at 203-888-2543, Ext. 3041 or register online at www.OxfordRec.com. Payment of at least half of the trip fee must be received by the Parks and Rec office within 2 weeks of your request to be added to the list. Overnight weekend trips require a $150 deposit to reserve your space. For all trips, we need the names of all of the people traveling in your group. All trips are to be paid in full by 45 days before departure. Sorry but NO refunds after 30 days before departure.

• Board the Provincetown II for a close-up view of the tall ships;
• 90 minute narrated cruise through Boston Harbor;
• Expansive open and closed decks;
• Prior to the cruise you will enjoy time for shopping on Boston’s Newberry Street and lunch on your own;
• Cost: $89 per person;

• Enjoy a night of music at the U.S. Military Academy Trophy Point Amphitheater;
• Lawn seating – set up your own space with blankets & chairs;
• Show starts at 7:30 p.m.;
• Enjoy an early dinner before the concert at the River Rose Grill located on the Hudson River in Newburgh;
• Cost: $82 per person;
• Depart: 2:00 p.m. – Oxford Town Hall, Return: 11:00 p.m.

• Enjoy a guided tour of the historic International Tennis Hall of Fame;
• Lunch will be at La Forge Casino Restaurant located on the grounds of the Tennis Hall of Fame;
• After lunch there will be time for shopping on the Newport waterfront
• Cost: $100 per person
• Depart: 7:45 a.m. – Oxford Town Hall, Return: 7:30 p.m. Block Island, Rhode Island

• Spend a day on beautiful Block Island;
• Board the ferry for a 1 hour cruise from Port Judith, R.I. to Old Block Island Harbor;
• Enjoy a full course lunch at the famous historic National Hotel;
• After lunch board a private bus for a guided tour of the island;
• Enjoy free time to explore Old Harbor before boarding the ferry back to the mainland;
• Cost: $115 per person;
• Depart: 7:00 a.m. – Oxford Town Hall, return: 8:30 p.m.

• Game location: Yankee Stadium;
• Includes ticket, transportation and driver gratuity;
• Cost: $138 per person;
• Depart: 12:30 p.m. – Oxford Town Hall, Returns: 10:00 p.m.
