Oxford Resident Qualifies For NCAA Championship Action

OXFORD, CT — Junior Salim Lemond (Oxford, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University men's swimming and diving team will head to Birmingham, Ala. next month to compete in the 2017 NCAA Division II Men's Swimming and Diving Championship, according to the Southern Connecticut State University Athletics Department.

This marks the third consecutive year that Lemond has been selected to compete in the pre-qualifying event. That action will take place prior to the official start of the Swimming and Diving Championship, which starts on March 8.
