How did you come up with the name? I chose the name “Oxford Outdoor Services” because I wanted to highlight that the company was proudly based in Oxford and that it provided a wide range of services to homeowners, landscape and tree companies service providers, commercial property managers and municipalities.

Why start a business in this town? I live in Oxford so I am very familiar with the town. It also has a very convenient location for conducting business within the region.

What business are you in? Oxford Outdoor Services, LLC provides stump, brush and snow removal services at this time.

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner? The most difficult challenge has been ensuring all of the state licensing and permit paperwork was completed accurately and in a timely manner. Oxford Outdoor Services, LLC is a state licensed home improvement contractor, license #0643214. Oxford Outdoor Services, LLC also always carries full liability insurance.

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening? Opening the business in general has been my proudest achievement. I researched the equipment needed and how to utilize resources for about two years. During this time saved and planned to put Oxford Outdoor Services, LLC in a position to really help people improve their properties.

How does your business give back to the community? As a new business I have not had the opportunity yet to give back to the community. In the future Oxford Outdoor Services, LLC has hopes to donate services to area park and rec. departments as well as athletic organization.
