Oxford's Michael Braley Concludes Track and Field Season

Eastern Student Athlete Michael Braley of Oxford Concludes Track and Field 2018-19 Indoor Season

WILLIMANTIC, CT -- The men's track and field team at Eastern Connecticut State University's recently concluded its 2018-19 indoor season.

Among the student athletes was Michael Braley '20 of Oxford, who majors in Criminology and participated in sprinting and mid-distance running events.

While competing at the New England Division III Championships in Cambridge, MA, the team earned qualifications in long jump and triple jump, set personal career bests and outscored their own individual records. The outdoor season is set to begin on March 23 at Ursinus College.
The Warriors compete in the Little East Conference (LEC), which was established in 1986 as a single-sport league by six public institutions throughout New England. The LEC has since become a multi-sport league with eight primary members, six affiliate members and 19 championships.
