Police: Oxford Man's Argument with Ex-Son-in-Law Leads to Smashed I-Phone
Police say the ex-father-in-law, an Oxford man, smashed the man's mobile phone when the two met at the Goose restaurant.

A 65-year-old man got into a dispute at the Goose restaurant early Saturday evening with his ex-son-in-law and got so angry he took the younger man’s cell phone and smashed it on the floor, police said.
Darien police said the two met at the 972 Post Rd. restaurant (which, in a totally unrelated case, U.S. House Speaker John Boehner visited the day before).
The ex-father-in-law, Gary Colello of Chip Shot Lane in Oxford, went to the restaurant to discuss ongoing personal conflict involving the man’s ex-wife (Colello’s daughter), police said. The cell phone owned by the 37-year-old Darien man was on a table when the conversation became intense and Colello smashed the device, according to the report. Police were called at 7:05 p.m.
