Before the crocuses poke their heads out of the ground... before the spring showers begin... there’s one sure sign that spring is on the way — Rich Farm Ice Cream Shop opens for the season!
Rich Farm fans are in luck — the shop didn’t know if they would open on March 14 due to the weekly winter weather. Staff posted on Facebook and said the date didn’t seem so realistic anymore.
But thanks to a mid-March warm-up, the date is on!

“Great news,” the Facebook post read. “We are still opening as planned this Saturday, March 14, at 11:30 a.m. See you all then!”
The shop hours are 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. The shop’s address is 691 Oxford Rd., Oxford, and it can be reached at 203-881-1040.
