Son Stole Oxford Parents Dump Trailer When They Were at a Wedding: Report

Russel Jaffer, 34, of 11 Swan Drive in Seymour is accused of allegedly stealing a dump trailer from his parents’ property on Chestnut Tree Hill Road in Oxford on May 16 while they were attending a wedding, the Republican-American reports.

Jaffer was charged with third-degree larceny. Police spoke with Jaffer’s ex-girlfriend during the investigation who said Jaffer allegedly admitted to her that he stole the trailer with intentions to sell it to a friend, according to a report by the Republican-American. Jaffer’s father bought the trailer for $5,000 eight years ago.
