State Trooper In Crash Was At Party Beforehand: Report
Many questions are unanswered after a state police trooper was involved in a crash that left a mother and daughter injured.
OXFORD, CT — An internal affairs investigation has been opened after a state police sergeant was involved in a crash while in his police vehicle.
The Republican-American is reporting that several troopers were at a retirement party at The Black Hog Brewing Co before the crash. State police have a zero tolerance policy for drinking and operating a department vehicle.

Sgt. John McDonald wasn't given a field sobriety after the crash and there is no evidence a blood test was given, according to the Republican-American.
