Temple Honors Oxford Native and Soldier

First Selectman George Temple was on hand to welcome home Oxford native Jeff "Jay" Sepanek at a party recently held in his honor.  Temple presented Sepanek a certificate from the Town thanking him for 23 years of service to his country.

Sepanek, a CW4 in the U.S. Army, recently retired from Fort Bragg, N.C., and had been stationed in Korea, Hawaii, Bosnia, Germany, Afghanistan and New York. He currently is employed by Sikorsky Aerospace and resides in Newport News, Va.
