Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Oxford
A Hamden resident is the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
OXFORD, CT — A Hamden resident is $10,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Oxford, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Monday, Yasmin Akther claimed a winning 10X Cash 15th Edition ticket purchased at Smoke Junction LLC, on Oxford Road.
The game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in May, and as of Wednesday, 197 grand prizes of $10,000 remained unclaimed. More than 5.2 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.
