Wolverines Football Team Rolls Over Immaculate

The team improves to 3-2 on the season.

The Oxford High School football team got back to its winning ways Friday, beating Immaculate High School 34-12. 

Receiver Chris VanKamerik had four receptions for 99 yards and two receiving touchdowns, while Quarterback Kyle Chudoba was five-of-nine passing for 126 yards. On top of throwing the two TD passes, he ran one into the end zone from two yards out. 

Steve Persson (12-yard run), Jeff Haney (11-yard run) also scored TDs for Oxford.

Running back Steve Persson rushed 12 times for 146 yards, while Gunnar Fay carried it four times for 83 yards.

Adam Baktis carried the ball eight times for 30 yards, while Haney had two carries for 15 yards and a reception for 27 yards. 

Nick Racsko had one carry for three yards, while Mickey Krochko had one carry for 14 yards.
 
Oxford bounced back from a devastating loss last week against Masuk of Monroe. The Wolverines improve to 3-2 on the season with a game at Seymour at 7 p.m. Friday.
